In February of 2019 with JPB support along with grant and start-up funds, Natalie was hired as a research assistant by Fellow Katie Dickinson. Both have been working hand-in-hand on project management, proposal and manuscript writing, data collection and analysis, and, increasingly, managing of their growing team of MPH student research assistants for the Sun Valley project.

Natalie has been working on JPB-funded projects including a study of the Sun Valley public housing redevelopment, an analysis of environmental and public health justice in Colorado city plans, and a survey of residents living in near an ethane pipeline being constructed in Pennsylvania. Natalie plans to pursue her PhD in Environmental Health, focusing on environmental epidemiology.
