Stephanie joined the Sun Valley project team in the fall of 2019. Her work has focused on building relationships with the Sun Valley community, including researching and interviewing other community review boards as models for Fellow Katherine’s work, and assisting with project management.

Stephanie has lived in Boulder, Colorado for 20 years. She and her family enjoy cycling and hiking in and around the many pedestrian trails and open space surrounding the city, and are active members of their community. Stephanie cares deeply about empowering communities to leverage science and policy to improve healthy equity for themselves and their neighbors. She believes that prioritizing the needs of the most vulnerable leads to better lives for all. With the support of the JPB funds, she has researched and interviewed community review boards as models for future community engagement in Sun Valley, Denver. She has also participated in joint literature research and qualitative survey analysis that explore the links between housing and health.
