Adriana joined the Sun Valley project team in the spring of 2020. She is conducting her capstone project using resident survey data from the Sun Valley community, including conducting a qualitative analysis of responses to open-ended questions on perceptions of the planned redevelopment and evaluating survey format and content to inform future data collection.
Adriana is a graduate student at the University of Colorado – Anschutz Medical Campus, seeking a Master of Public Health degree in Community and Behavioral Health. Her public health interests include community based participatory research, program planning and evaluation, mixed-methods research, and community outreach and engagement in underserved communities. JPB funds have supported Adriana to work with Dr. Katherine Dickinson, by studying the impacts of the Sun Valley redevelopment project, on residents’ health and wellbeing over time.
