Eighteen-hour shifts. End-of-life care. Lack of proper equipment. Frontline healthcare workers have been facing seemingly insurmountable challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. And yet they get the job done. We see photos of these workers with their faces obscured by PPE. But they are real people, often women, who have families and enjoy fashion and beauty as much as we do.
